Arch Capital Group Ltd., a Bermuda-based provider of insurance and reinsurance, reported fourth quarter net income available to common shareholders of $62.4 million, an 18% increase from $53.1 million in the prior year quarter.
For the full year, net income was $665 million, up 29% from $516 million in 2015.
Gross premiums written for the fourth quarter were up 8.3%, to $1.16 billion. For the full year, gross premiums written were $5.20 billion, an 8.4% increase.
