Concentra Acquires Secure Medical Care, Adding 2 D.C.-Area Centers

Occupational health giant Concentra announced it has added two Washington, D.C.-area medical centers to its roster after acquiring local health care provider Secure Medical Care. Concentra now runs occupational health centers in Gaithersburg and Beltsville, Maryland. The billion-dollar company is looking to expand its footprint in the Washington, D.C., area, Concentra representatives wrote in their announcement of the acquisition, released Monday.
