Appeals Court: WCAB Erred in Finding No Requirement to Pay for Cannabis

Add Pennsylvania to the list of states where employers can be required to reimburse injured workers for cannabis when the drug is determined to be a reasonable and necessary treatment for their work injury. A divided Pennsylvania appellate court on Friday said in one case that the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board erred when it concluded that an employer or carrier couldn't be required to pay for medical cannabis.
