West Virginia’s Intermediate Court of Appeals upheld a finding of compensability for a firefighter’s knee injury. Case: City of Wheeling v. Melsop, No. 24-ICA-379, 04/29/2025, published. Facts: Cody Melsop worked for the City of Wheeling as a firefighter. He injured his right knee at work in December 2023. Melsop reported the incident to his supervisor that same day.
