COVID-19 Claims Fall in November

The Florida Division of Workers’ Compensation announced the number of indemnity claims for COVID-19 fell again in November to the lowest point since March 2020. The division reported 119 indemnity claims alleging a COVID-19 injury occurred in November, down from the previous low of 504 set in October. The division reports seven claims were filed with accident dates in January 2020 and 16 were filed with accident dates in February 2020.
