The Arizona Senate passed a bill that would allow electronic transmission of some documents and a measure that would modify a presumption that cancer is an occupational condition for firefighters and peace officers.
The Senate on Thursday voted 22-8 to pass SB 1451, by Sen. Paul Boyer, R-Phoenix, which would extend a presumption that cancer is compensable to cover fire investigators as well as firefighters.
