Hospitals in Tennessee could see a slight bump in reimbursements if new workers’ compensation fee schedules are approved early next year.
The proposed schedules and rules, released this week, would increase maximum per-diem rates by about 5% in several categories and would raise the stop-loss threshold on extended hospital stays.
The bureau will hold a hearing Jan. 17 to gain input from stakeholders on the changes. Once finalized, the rules would take effect in February.
