The District of Columbia Court of Appeals disbarred a veteran attorney for his “flagrant dishonesty” in representing a workers’ compensation claimant. Case: In re Johnson, No. 19-BG-240, 05/26/2022, published. Facts: Johnnie L. Johnson III began practicing law in 1970. In June 2012, a former District of Columbia Public Schools bus driver hired Johnson to represent him in a workers' compensation appeal.
