Colorado Gov. Jared Polis enacted a bill that will increase the cap on combined temporary disability and permanent partial disability benefits by 100% or more.
Polis on Tuesday signed HB 1220, by Rep. Lindsey Daugherty, D-Arvada.
The bill increases the cap on combined temporary disability and permanent partial disability benefits for injured workers with an impairment rating of 19% or less, to $185,000 from $75,000.
The bill also increases the cap on combined benefits for impairment ratings greater than 19%, to $300,000 from $150,000.
