DWC Reports $1.5B in Medical Payments for 2020

The Florida Division of Workers’ Compensation reports that medical payments in 2020 totaled $1.5 billion, a decrease from the more than $1.7 billion paid in 2019. Within 12 months of injury, total payments of $848.7 million are also down from the more than $1 billion paid within 12 months of injury in 2019, according to the division’s 2021 Results & Accomplishments Report.
