The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division adopted rules that will increase the fee paid to carriers for administering the Employer-at-Injury program by 50% next year.
Carriers will be paid $180 to cover administrative costs associated with helping employers participate in the program as of Jan. 1. Carriers are currently paid $120.
The Employer-at-Injury program encourages early return-to-work by providing incentives such as wage subsidies when workers are placed in modified positions while recovering from an injury.
