Federal prosecutors say Michael D. Drobot doesn’t seem to understand that his champagne wishes and caviar dreams don’t take precedence over his obligation to relinquish $10 million in ill-gotten gains from the kickback scheme he orchestrated at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach.
Prosecutors said in papers filed this weekend that Drobot used money he owed to the Justice Department to continue living the high life by paying for his son's wedding rehearsal, a waterfront house in Southern California and wiring more than $500,000 to his girlfriend.
