Temporary Rules Adopting COVID-19 Codes Take Effect

Temporary rules allowing the use of new procedure codes for COVID-19 tests took effect Monday, the Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division announced. The temporary rules incorporate into the state’s medical billing rules authorization for four new Current Procedural Terminology codes that the American Medical Association created for COVID-19 tests.
