WCIRB Study Finds CT Claims Drive Up Pure Premium Rate, ALAE

Without the effect of cumulative trauma claims in California, the indicated advisory pure premium rate for Jan. 1, 2018, would have been $1.59 per $100 of payroll rather than $1.96, according to preliminary results of a study by the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau.
