The Georgia Court of Appeals ruled that an employer was not entitled to a credit for the benefits paid to an injured worker with “concurrent dissimilar" employment. Steven Gierum worked as a union crane operator/engineer in New York. Because of the nature of Gierum's work, there were periods when he had no jobs to complete.
