The California Division of Workers' Compensation will accept comments until May 7 on draft interpreter fee schedule rules posted to its online forum Monday.
The proposed reimbursement rate for Spanish language certified interpreters for hearings and depositions would be $210 for each half day and $388 for each full day. The rate for certified interpreters in languages other than Spanish is $240 for a half day and $418 for a full day.
For "provisionally certified" Spanish interpreters, the half-day rate would be $103 and the full-day pay would be $187 for hearings and deposition...
