A Louisiana appellate court upheld a determination that an injured worker did not willfully make false statements for the purpose of obtaining compensation benefits. Case: Geismar v. Walker, No. 2021 CA 1528, 07/05/2022, published. Facts: Grant Walker filed a claim for workers' compensation benefits against Shell Chemicals Geismar LP in 2019.
