NCOIL Proposes Model Law on Compounds, Physician Dispensing

A model law being developed by a national organization of state legislators would address what many consider to be two of the biggest issues in workers’ comp pharmacy: physician dispensing and compounded medications. The model law, still in a draft form, is a project of the National Council of Insurance Legislators, or NCOIL.
