The Utah House of Representatives unanimously approved a measure that would extend until 2025 the deadline for the final report from a task force charged with studying the compensability of mental health claims for first responders.
The House voted 73-0 on Tuesday to pass HB 25, by Rep. Karen Kwan, D-Murray. The bill would require the Mental Health Protections for First Responders working group to deliver by Sept. 30, 2025, its final report and any recommendations for the Legislature.
