Workers’ compensation premium renewal rates ticked up 0.58% in May but reverted to a decrease in June and were negative overall for the second quarter, according to the latest edition of the Ivans Index.
Workers’ comp renewal rates fell 0.16% in the second quarter, following a 0.48% decrease in the first quarter. The average for the first six months of 2017 was a 0.32% decrease, according to Ivans, a division of Applied Systems that releases quarterly reports on insurance rates.
