Pennsylvania lawmakers introduced legislation that would require utilities and certain electrical contractors to provide automated external defibrillators at worksites where lineworkers perform utility or electrical work. SB 1328, introduced Wednesday and referred to the Senate Labor and Industry Committee, would require at least one operable AED at each utility or electrical worksite, including temporary, mobile and field locations.
