Fraud Assessment Commission members are scheduled to hear an update on the California Department of Insurance’s Workers’ Compensation Insurance Fraud Program at its Jan. 6 meeting, according to an agenda posted online.
Commissioners also are slated to discuss the Department of Industrial Relations’ fraud assessment collection for the 2021-22 fiscal year and the Workers’ Compensation Grant Review Panel.
In September, the FAC voted against additional funding for anti-fraud grants.
