The Nevada Supreme Court ruled that a cancer-stricken ex-firefighter was entitled to receive permanent partial disability benefits even though he had retired and was earning no wages by the time he became disabled. Case: Clark County v. Bean, No. 78443, 10/08/2020, published. Facts: Brent Bean worked as a Clark County firefighter. He retired from duty in 2011, and in 2014 he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
