Owner of Compounding Pharmacy Accused of Making Unapproved Drug

Federal prosecutors charged the owner of a compounding pharmacy in Colorado of illegal interstate sales of selling an unapproved prescription pain cream. The U.S. Attorney’s Office on Wednesday filed with the U.S. District Court for Colorado a criminal information charging Darby C. Brown, owner of Brown’s Compounding Center Inc. in Parker, with the illegal introduction of an unapproved new drug into interstate commerce.
