When Gov. Matt Bevin in July abolished a little-known occupational safety board, a number of Democrats fired off letters, urging that the executive action be rescinded.
The governor’s move was illegal and dismantles the long-established structure what was actually a highly regarded state program, Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear wrote in a letter to lawmakers.
