Meadowbrook Appoints Chief Underwriting Officer

Meadowbrook Insurance Group has promoted Fred Browning to chief underwriting officer, the carrier said in a press release.  Browning previously was senior vice president of admitted carrier operations. In his new role, he will lead corporate underwriting functions, reporting to Chief Operating Officer Nathan Voorhis.  Browning joined Meadowbrook in April 2016. Before then, he was a managing partner at Overland Group, an insurance consulting firm. Browning has also held executive positions at three national insurance companies.
