The Connecticut Division of Criminal Justice announced that a former state trooper who operated a silk-screening business while receiving temporary disability benefits pleaded guilty to two counts of larceny.
Kevin Moore, 45, started receiving temporary total disability benefits after suffering a back injury in July 2019, the division said. Surveillance conducted between November 2019 and February 2020 revealed incidents where Moore exceeded physical limitations set by his provider and was running his own business.
