Members of the Senate Rules Committee wasted little time Friday in recommending confirmation of Gov. Jerry Brown’s two recent appointments to the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
The Rules Committee voted 4-0 to recommend that the full Senate confirm Katherine W. Dodd for a six-year term on the WCAB without asking any questions of the nominee. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend that the upper chamber approve the appointment of Juan P. Gaffney after he assured one member that he would remain objective.
