A bill that would provide protection for workers and for employers seems to have struck a nerve in Ohio, with more than three dozen people testifying on it during a legislative hearing this week.
House Bill 606 would grant coronavirus liability lawsuit protection for Ohio businesses and local governments. And, as amended at the last minute in the state House of Representatives last month, it also would establish a broad workers' compensation presumption for essential workers.
