Court Upholds Ex-Correctional Officer's Conviction for Comp Fraud, Theft

An Ohio appellate court upheld a former correctional officer’s conviction for workers’ compensation fraud and theft based on his acceptance of temporary total disability benefits while he was employed. Matthew J. Doerschuk injured his right foot in March 2018 while working as a corrections officer for Geo Group Inc.
