Church Mutual to Dispense 50 $5K Scholarships to Religious Studies Students

Church Mutual Insurance Co.'s charitable foundation has created a scholarship program for students pursuing careers as ministers, the insurance company announced this week. The foundation set aside $250,000 to fund 50 scholarships of $5,000 for distribution in 2017. The scholarship is open to full-time students enrolling in religious studies programs at colleges, universities or seminaries during the 2017-18 academic year. The program will accept applications until April 15 and announce recipients in May.
