Just days after Pennsylvania regulators urged insurers to issue refunds to employers who paid inflated premiums because of a data error, one carrier has responded with a $2.4 million correction.
Los Angeles-based Zenith Insurance Co. and its subsidiary, ZNAT Insurance, filed a notice with the Pennsylvania Insurance Department on Dec. 17 that it plans to retroactively revise rates for all Pennsylvania policyholders for the nine months that the erroneous premiums were in place this year.
