The Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation is hosting a retirement luncheon during its annual educational conference for outgoing administrator Abbie Hudgens.
Hudgens is retiring Aug. 31 after serving as the head of the BWC since September 2011. Gov. Bill Lee earlier in July appointed Troy Haley as her successor.
The BWC said it will hold a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 17 to recognize Hudgens and her accomplishments. The luncheon will also serve as a fundraiser for Kids’ Change of Tennessee.
