The nation’s largest police union is asking governors in all states to work with lawmakers to create presumptions that law enforcement officers who contract COVID-19 did so while in the line of duty.
The National Fraternal Order of Police, which represents more than 350,000 law enforcement officers in the U.S., posted “An Open Letter to Our Nation’s Governors” to social media Tuesday.
