A New York appellate court doubled the length of the suspension handed down to an attorney convicted of falsifying business records for a client of his payroll company as part of a work comp fraud scheme.
The Appellate Division’s 3rd Department on June 9, 2022, suspended Jerry Ray Hamling for one year. Hamling sought reconsideration and the court on Thursday doubled the suspension to two years.
