L.A. County Parks Worker Arrested for Fraud

A Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation employee who was declared permanently and totally disabled as a consequence of Lyme disease was arrested for fraud after video surveillance showed her playing drums and singing in a band, according to the California Department of Insurance.Susette Boggs, 52, filed a workers’ compensation claim in 2007 reporting that she had contracted Lyme disease after being bitten by a tick.
