Long-tenured Illinois workers’ compensation attorney James K. Keefe Sr. died at the age of 68.
Keefe died at his home Sept. 9, the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission said in an email Friday.
Keefe practiced law before the commission for 44 years. Shortly after graduating from Qunicy College and St. Louis University Law School, he took over the workers’ compensation defense firm of Keefe & DePauli for his father.
