California Attorney General Xavier Becerra on Monday asked a court to order Amazon to provide information about its workplace safety practices and how it is protecting workers from COVID-19.
The state Department of Justice on Aug. 19 issued subpoenas requesting details about the nature or extent of Amazon’s coronavirus prevention efforts, including information about its sick leave policies, cleaning procedures and the number of infections and deaths at the 117 Amazon facilities throughout California.
