Recreational and medical marijuana are legal in Massachusetts. But that has not solved the thorny problem of how to objectively differentiate between injured employees who are stoned at work and those who may be users after hours. Now, a state Senator plans to introduce legislation that would prohibit employers from firing workers for consuming marijuana on their own time.
