DWC Says Travel Reimbursement Form Changes Would Help Avoid Delays

The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation is accepting public comments on proposed changes to its travel reimbursement form. The update to Form 048 should help prevent delays in reimbursement for injured workers' travel expenses by making it clear that the worker should submit the form to the insurance carriers, not to the DWC, the agency said in a bulletin.
