Employers Net Income Dips in 4th Quarter, Full Year

Employers Holdings on Wednesday reported net income of $26.7 million for the quarter that ended on Dec. 31, 2015, down 8% from $29.1 million from the final quarter of 2014. For the full year, the Reno, Nevada-based carrier reported net income of $94.4 million, 6% less than the $100.7 million in profits reported for 2014. Total revenues also decreased from 2014 to 2015. Employers reported revenues of 184.5 million for the final quarter of 2015, compared to $192.6 million in the prior-year quarter.
