ProAssurance Announces Dividends Totaling $5 per Share

The ProAssurance Corp. Board of Directors has declared a special dividend of $4.69 per share and a regular dividend of $0.31 per share. The dividends will be paid on Jan. 9 to shareholders who own stock as of Dec. 23, the company announced on Wednesday. Including the newly declared dividends, ProAssurance will have returned about $1.7 billion to shareholders in the past decade through share repurchases, and regular and special dividends.
