A bill that would allow massage therapists to be paid for treating injured workers has again passed the New York State Senate and is now in the Assembly Labor Committee.
Senate Bill 5421, sponsored by Sen. Jessica Ramos, D-East Elmhurst, passed the Senate on Tuesday by a vote of 57-3. The Senate approved the bill last year but it died in the Assembly in January and was returned to the Senate.
