Actuarial Committee Meets Thursday

The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California Actuarial Committee will review medical trends and system diagnostics during a webinar meeting Thursday. Members of the committee will also review insurer experience through Dec. 31, a retrospective evaluation of 2021 fee schedule changes and the Sept. 1 pure premium rate filing. The rate filing discussion will include a review of loss adjustment expenses and alternative loss projection methodologies as well as COVID-19 claim cost projections.
