Portland Roofing Company Fined $104,000 for Safety Violations

The Oregon Division of Occupational Safety and Health fined a Portland roofing and painting company $104,000 for six safety violations, including not protecting workers from fall hazards. Investigators with the agency referred to as Oregon OSHA allege that the company “failed to follow requirements to implement adequate fall protection systems,” including a personal fall arrest system.
