The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation announced that benefits are increasing 4.3% for injuries sustained on or after Oct. 1.
Maximum temporary income, lifetime income and death benefits are all increasing to $1,271 from $1,219. The maximum impairment income and supplemental income benefits are increasing to $890 from $853.
Minimum temporary income, lifetime income and impairment income benefits are increasing to $191 from $183.
The increase in benefits aligns with an increase in the state's average weekly wage, which rose to $1,271.05 from $1,218.62.
