A group of seven retired professional football players last week filed a motion to intervene in the settlement negotiations with the National Football League targeted at resolving a long-running dispute about what the league knew about the risks of neurological injury to its players and what it should have done.The charges, MDL Docket Item No. 2323, have been stacking up since July 2011.
