IWCC Announces Death of Justice Thomas E. Hoffman

The Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission announced the death of appellate court Justice Thomas E. Hoffman. Hoffman, a longtime member of the Workers’ Compensation Appellate Panel, died July 4. Hoffman was born in Chicago and earned his undergraduate degree from Loyola University and his law degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago.  He worked as an attorney for the city for five years before entering private practice in 1976.
