Governor Approves CalFire Salary Continuation Bill

California Gov. Gavin Newsom enacted legislation ratifying the agreement he told firefighters for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection to negotiate with the state if they wanted to receive salary continuation pay in lieu of temporary disability benefits.
