The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation is proposing changes to the form doctors use to report work ability that it said are intended to enhance its readability and usability.
The most significant draft updates to the “Physician’s Report of Work Ability,” MEDCO-14, would streamline form instructions and simplify injured worker restrictions and work status questions, the BWC said. The bureau is also proposing to update the abilities and clinical findings chart using medical and rehabilitation industry language.
